I love teaching! I never thought I would...but the first time I stood behind the pulpit and taught a lesson about how God does His best during our impossibilities, I knew that teaching is my gift! But my enthusiasm for doctrine did not start there...it began a year later! Yup...it was not love at first sight! you know why? well...let's just say i got turned off the day after that sunday i taught doctrine! i never expected God would test me right away! i even thought how inconsiderate God was for not giving me a warning or even a week or two before testing me! But then...God had a better plan and His timing is always perfect! I can still remember what happened...and as expected...i failed! It's a good thing that God provided 1 John 1:9 for us believers!
Now...i should know better to expect the unexpected. And because i decided to take on the responsiblity of teaching, i should also accept the consequence of gaining doctrine! I'm not claiming to be wise enough to not fail...but i do understand that if ever i do fail...it's not the end of the world!
Apostle Paul is starting to be my favorite Bible Character for the fact that he always moves forward in his spiritual life (Philippians 3:14) and looks only unto the only begotten Son of God, Jesus Christ, who endured the ultimate test! (Hebrews 12:2)
